Fragments Lock

Hi,
I hope you can help me.
In my Inventory (storage) there is a tab for the Fragments I have collected.
Can anyone explain the use of the lock on the fragments tab?
As we don't sell them then it doesn't work the same way as on the inventory tab.

I lock all my fragments to keep from accidentally clicking to delete them. Fragments can't be sold but they can be deleted, and since there is no limit on inventory there's really no reason to delete them ever. You never know when they might be useful again.
