Fishing Hut... Why?

I am fairly new to Forge of Empires and needed to add a cultural building but used the Fishing Hut as I thought (stupidly) that it would be what I wanted and I had it to be used so why not?

So, After finding out that it isn't a cultural building and being 'hacked off; that I've wasted space I can't afford to loose; what good is the Fishing Hut as I can find no real information about it?

I'm at the end of the Iron Age by the way if that helps?
