Expedition points are not awarded

Hi,
I'm in TE and for the first round of expedition, I'm using lower level eras. On the second milestone, I used Progressive troops. Although I earned PVP points, I did not get any expedition points. I checked because it had stayed at 604, which was the exp points earned from the first milestone.

Is there a limit to how low you can go when fighting expedition? Or is it a bug?
