As can be seen from the screenshot ALL SIX sectors around F2A are owned by our guild, yet the progress made by the other guild was not lost.
I tried logging out, doing battlegrounds in another world, and clearing cached content. No change - the game still says F2A is at 70/130.
From what I remember I took A2A - their last adjecent province - while they were attacking F2A, but that should not matter. E2A was owned by another guild, but even after taking it nothing changed.
