Not a Bug: Easter Event Same Reward

Opened up five chests and won five watchfires. Why no variety?

  • World: Mount Killmore en12
  • Browser and Version: Chrome 49.0.2623.87 m
  • Overview of the bug: Self Explanatory
  • Screenshots: N/A
  • How often this occurs: N/A
  • Urgency: Urgent if you want me to spend any more $$$$
  • Preventative Actions: Report it here
  • Summary: Opened up 5 x Silver Chests and received 5 x Watchfires
  • I have performed a quicksearch of the forums using a select few keywords relating to my bug to see if it has already been reported: Yes

Bad luck for Inno Games maybe. I bought diamonds so I can use them to buy eggs. They won't be getting another cent out of me

too bad you just realized you do not have to spend money for diamonds on this game

EDIT: you do remember math class about probabilities right? Every spin you have exact same chance to hit same prizes. If you want to try the exercise flip a coin 10 times, it is possible you will get tails 10 times, every flip gives you same chance and probability,

so if prize is 25% chance to get top daily reward, it does not mean for sure in 4 spins or less you will get that prize

I think maybe you need to go back to school. In the silver chest there is a 12% chance of getting a watchtower That means I have a proability of 1:8

How can you compare that to a coin where you have a 50% chance and have a probability of 1:2

Maybe you should head to your local casino, I'm sure they'd love to see you :D

The point I think Ritabelz was trying to make to you is that the probability of winning any prize does not change when you open a chest, it does not increase and it does not decrease. You seem to be under the impression that by opening multiple chests, your probabilities should have changed which is not the case as there is no cumulative effect. You may have been unlucky, but that's the way things go in games of chance. From your provided information, this doesn't sound like a bug to me.

Sorry, don't agree at all.

If you put one pink ball in a bucket with 7 other white balls what are the odds of picking that pink ball out 5 times in a row? The chances are less than 1%

Because there was also another 7 prizes I could have won, I had 350 eggs and it's cheaper using 5 x 70 eggs on a silver chest rather than 2 x 120 eggs on a gold chest.

Also higher than 0%.
In fact, if you have 8 balls, the chance of getting a ball 5 times in a row is about 0.0244% - it happens to about one out of every 4096 players.

Sure depends on what you were trying to get. For the grand prize, you would have a
  • 48% chance of getting at least one out of 9 bronze chests (360 eggs)
  • 50% chance of getting at least one out of 5 silver chests (350 eggs)
  • 58% chance of getting at least one out of 3 gold chests (360 eggs)

tanks big fella for math class but my point may not be 100% accurate, but it is valid, you can open or draw pick ball or flig tails 5 times in row, does not mean 25% to win top prize in 120 egg chest means you will get it for sure after 4 chests

Please stop comparing it to "flipping a coin"

I'm not saying that it's impossible but highly unlikely. I still think there is a bug where in if somebody opens a chest one after the other the algorithm doesn't allow the possible reward to reset.

Do any developers actually read this section or are we just wasting our time posting here?

Somebody that gets it. So a 0.0244% chance that I should have got the same 5 rewards from 5 picks.

Maybe I should invest my money in buying lotto tickets rather than wasting my time on this game

As it was pointed out earlier, the chance of you getting 5 watchfires in a row is approx 1:4000 .... we have between 30,000 and 50,000 players on dozens of servers - it would be far more remarkable if this HADN'T happened to a few players :)

I would say bad luck.. I remember players complaining on forum that they won up to 7 times in a row the same prize in past events and mods replied "Bad Luck".

I won 3 color guards on the bounce also. What's the funking point in that?
I know it's all free so cheers but the shop idea from past events sounds my more fun and much more logical . If something ain't broken don't try to fix it.

Bad luck.. I miss the shop as well but it wasnt a fix but an update.
