Zeratul 2.0
Lieutenant Colonel
Do you think it is a good idea to create a "unidirectional x1.9 thread" based on your friend list? --
Wherein "unidirectional" means only you (for example, if you are Bewildered Zeratul) can advertise the x1.9 spots for friends to take.
Others cannot advertise x1.9 spots because it is not guaranteed that they are not mutual friends.
The background:
1. You (Bewildered Zeratul) are in an intermediately strong guild -- not too strong, and therefore their guild-based x1.9 thread is not super hot, and is chilly and quiet often times;
2. You (Bewildered Zeratul) are in a "conventional" x1.9 thread, where you are friend with less than half of all the members there, and the length of your friend list is more than 120 so you cannot invite more friends.
Note: "Conventional" means long-standing, means that the thread has existed for a long time, and that the x1.9 thread came into existence first, and those who join a.k.a. "the new guys" should add the older members of the x1.9 thread to better partake in its activities; because, non-friends won't be able to take your spot even if they want to.
On the contrary, your (Bewildered Zeratul's) "unidirectional" x1.9 thread is "non-conventional" because the friend list exists first, and x1.9 thread based on it came into existence after.
Merit: When you (Bewildered Zeratul) post a building in the "unidirectional x1.9" every other person receiving the message has the chance to take the spot, as opposed to the fact that in the conventional x1.9 more than half of the members are not friends with you and therefore to them your advertisement of spots is pure spamming.
Con: On the surface it appears you (Bewildered Zeratul) are very selfish and self-centered.
What do you think? Is it a good idea to create such a unidirectional thread as described above?
