1) Does it look good - whole site.
2) is it useful ?
3) if not useful - what improvements do you want added ?

Example ?

Basically i want to use 'simple' HTML. I would improve layout etc - but its got to work on the older browsers as well as newer ones.
(At my work i cant use one of my regular 'external' websites as my work uses a browser one version under the latest version. The external website is catered to use latest version & i have no control)
in the stats, some people use mobile phones - so i'll work on that soon.

I have been thinking of getting 'data' out of the Forge of Empires website - I'll need to research that part. Got a number of ideas that have not already been done as yet.

my website allows players to compare one building against another. land area ? what it produces - compare with another building.

Is one building better to get than another ?

I've changed the red colour - but I'll add an improvement so people can edit / change to their own preferred color.

Well done! Much better! I would suggest to work on design/layout and then the rest.. of course its just my opinion :)

It will be helpful to have more information.

1) what screen are you looking at (website/URL address)
2) What part of the screen are you currently looking at
3) what changes do you suggest to be a better layout.
a) new / extra information ?
b) change in layout of existing information ? Moved / re-formatted / too much information ?

(I May add this as a guide for feedback)

Currently i have building comparisons for the following types

*Production
*Residential
*Military
*Great buildings
*Decorations (underway)
*Special buildings

The decorations are currently being added & will be finished in the next few days. I'll then add another one on one comparison for Great buildings.
(Have you found the hidden sort options ?)

Is anyone promoting this to your guilds ? Of course, i am interested in new ideas to add.

one thing I would like to see an external site have available is a players past guild history, is this possible.?

this could benefit guild founders when recruiting and also the info could be useful to see who is guild hopping / ghosting etc

ive found 2 external websites that "aquire" data from Forge of Empires. But so far, im getting no (useful) replies.... i dont know how the data is aquired.... I'll love to have data as well... Does anyone know (useful) answers ?

Started work on a members area to the site http://foe.kwister.com/members/

It requires a Google ID / login - Ive tried to get facebook login, but so far, its not working...

Currently, you record the number of residential buildings you have, & it tells you the total coins / population you have....

- will add supply manufacturing buildings, & goods buildings tooo... & eventually great buildings (daily rewards)....

Medium goal: Copy-n-paste ability to advise your guild leaders / other members

LONG term goal: some interaction with the main forge of empires website - (eg confirmation of ID / guild membership) - however thats unlikely at this time..

IPAD users - Can anyone who has an ipad, go into the front screen - http://foe.kwister.com/ & advise me if the text is too small

The part that says "select two...." and onwards... - Ive got the text above that set to 150% / 200% & this looks ok to me, but the "normal" text looks way too smalll..

Ive created Pc/normal templates as well as IPAD / mobile templates

EDIT: I will help if you have normal vision - no glasses / contacts etc...

I'm viewing the page in landscape mode, and my first reaction is that I have to scroll down a couple of screens just to get to the content: all the 'menu' material appears to be arranged as a series of H1 headings in a vertical column, implying that it's vastly more important than the actual data. And when you use the 'Next' link it all shrinks back to equally-widely-spaced small text anyway, leaving the announcement about the Members' area and Russian translators dominating the page - surely not the intention? :-)

Thanks - Not my intention. Ive done few tweaks & hopefully fixed. a) removed large fonts - BUT, is the text too tiny ?

ive checked my IPAD settings & the text is set slighly bigger than 'normal'.. So should be readable... but i find it too small. Is it too small ?

b) removed Russia text (Spain is now the highest non-english country/language viewing the site).

c) moved the menu of other screens & the 'message' part to the same level.. & now 'normal' size text.
