Hi
Today someone attacked me with 8 heavy infantry and my defence was the same. He lost the battle and i supposed to loose 6 of them, thats what the battle result was anyway, but when i tried to recruit back the lost troops i noticed none was dead. Am i missing something? Apparently i lost nothing, but the report say that i lost 6 units

turbofin,

This is normal. As a defender, one doesn't lose any troops, no matter whether one won the battle or one's defenses have been breached ( = all defending troops were defeated = all the defenders' units killed). It's just an assumption, but this seems to 'make up' for the lousy AI that actually can't be called a real defense. ;)

Cheers,
Bloodwyn

Do keep in mind that if an injured unit is placed in defence and you're attacked before the unit is allowed to heal completely, he will appear in battle injured.

It is also because it would be unfair if a player were to lose all of their troops, leaving their town free and open for plunder, while being at school/work/etc.

I see, it makes sense, the AI does a lousy job especialy to counter short ranged with cavalry is pointless it throws them useless in front and cant even get to the archers
Thanks
