Suggestion:
Let me introduce the contest:

1. All players who want to enlist themselves in the contest should pay 50~100 diamonds.
2. The list should be visible to everyone here and players should vote (1 star, 2 stars or 3 stars) for a player.
3. All players having an average of 1,0~1,5 star rate should receive 20~50 diamonds back.
4. All players having an average of 1,5~2,0 stars rate should receive the 50~100 diamonds back.
5. All players with an average rate more than 2,5 should receive 100~200 diamonds as a reward.
6. Top 100~50 players in every server will receive an additional gift of Small Forge point/Coin/Supply pack.
7. Top 50~20 will receive an additional gift of Medium Forge point/Coin/Supply pack.
8. Top 20~10 will receive an additional gift of Large Forge point/Coin/Supply pack.
9. Top 10~3 will receive a Large Forge point/Coin/Supply pack + Store Building/Renovation kit consumable.
10. The 3th will receive a Large Forge point/Coin/Supply pack + Premium decoration.
11. The 2nd will receive a Large Forge point/Coin/Supply pack + Premium cultural building.
12. The 1st will receive Large Forge point/Coin/Supply pack + a Unique building (Hall of Fame, Shrine of Knowledge, Bazaar, etc.)
13. People with 0 votes will receive nothing.

The contest should be initially announced every month (this may change on iNNo games team's own convenience/decision).
I suggest every week.

To enlist yourself for the contest you must only register your nick name and server you play on.
Contests are separate in each server.
Players can vote for infinite number of cities accross the servers but only once per City (for the current contest). They can change their vote within the next 24 hours after the vote.
No rating categories would be mentioned as many people find chaotic cities more interesting than if a city is neat and balanced. Leave it to the free choice.

Abuse prevention: Only people who want will participate. Cost is diamonds.

Benefit:
-First things first: no lags are involved in this thing so haters can live freely.
-People would want to acquire more diamonds in order to participate so it is only in the interest of iNNo to make such an event.
-Even that some of the children out there may find this a little insulting - it will educate people to think how to find balance in arranging their cities. If they don't like this, they can simply skip participating in the contest.

I agree that buying a vote would be bad but nothing bad in voting exchange.
Anyway, everything can be limited with votes per day... Whether it's the votes you receive or the votes you give to another player.

What else did you have in mind, dear?

I don't see a reason for the Aid feature or Tavern either cuz you can change your friends :D Especially for the Aiding as it doesn't have a cooldown and you can aid the whole server every day.

And, as I said, limiting the votes a player can give or receive per day/week will be limited.

You clearly have never been a referee for such things. Try city builder and you will see that there are at least a dozen different ways to build beautiful city. You have to chose one, and that is the same as telling the rest of them: you are simply not good enough... you can see how that is not true. No winners means no losers, not wise of to go assaulting pride of other people cities.

It's a little bit too much in my opinion, diamonds are very hard to find.

Whoever is capable of discussing an idea please note that part of my idea is the free choice: whoever wants will participate. Of course rewards may vary as well as the price for entering the contest.

-1 I don't care as well for these contests and in my opinion staff should decide not players.

No offense pretty much most of these ideas are posted by same posters. In these forums you can see the players themselves pull a hundred different ways. Everyone thinks their ideas are great.
