Ah didn't spot that thread, maybe the suggestions were suited to what Inno can do?
I'm searching for something that would make the game more fun without being more of the same.
Can I ask what your suggestions would be for no1?

There were a few items on list that should have been standard years ago and a couple of new ideas worth consideration, however, none of those listed were of a major importance, they were all things which were " improvements" or "upgrades" to existing gameplay, items that the devs just haven't got around to implementing already, so our votes may bring the timelines forward or backwards on those, there seriously wasn't anything that really could be considered a game saver, FoE sadly is in its death throws and needs something like a major change or overhaul....rewriting GVG so it could be accessed by all players across all platforms would have been that item in my view

Well, for better or worse, that is the whole point of the "community sprint" improvements where they gather lists like this, they are never for major game changes. Which yes, the game needs some help to bring back strategy and excitement, but that's not something that can be explained in 1 line and accomplished in a week of programming.

All ideas were small quality of life improvements and that is intended.

Thanks for the info folks, it's what I expected; I agree with scrap QI, if not some major changes are required. It's a slow-moving drag only interesting for guilds full of new players whom I suspect will get bored of building the same mini-cities time after time.
Newer players should better invest their time building a new full-featured city rather than waste it playing QI.
While a mobile all-age GvG-like feature would be fine, we can only assume that Inno no longer wants to put in the man-hours or have the skilled devs to do it. We have arrived at a situation where keeping troops of all ages and using buildings like Champions Retreat or Alcatraz have become redundant.
So where does that leave Inno other than developing more of the same?

Any new Forge of Empires feature should have the following requirements:
It should be playable anytime by all sizes of Guilds large or small with players of all ages and not have impediments.
It should not be based on who can build the fastest, building was never meant to be a race!
It should be simple and addictive fun, enough to entice more players to spend diamonds.

A new longer open featured player idea thread? the best of which Inno might consider for development.

From the look of it these suggestions come from "the Community", probably through feedback and ideas and have been put to a vote without asking the devs if what is suggested is actually possible or not. Rather a slap in the face of the voters.

Another remarkable fact is that out of the 130 million registered players only 77,038 have voted. Fact that not all languages of the servers are included might explain part of that. On some language servers they do not even know this has happened.

It does appear to have been done that way. I suppose it's one way of trying to nudge the Devs in a certain direction even if they are things requested numerous times before, by making it things players have voted for and are definitely requesting in numbers it's one way of clarifying they are wanted/needed. Even if they don't want to do them.

I was suprised to see they actually published the numbers and I would have expected higher numbers than that, I can't recall if the previous sprint was only sent via IGM, It's rare I even go in that section ingame and read them. So without reading other platforms I wouldn't have even been aware of the sprint. No doubt there's a lot of players not really paying attention on IGMs.

Quite a few of the QI options I would have thought they would be already planning on including at the minute. Simply because they're things they ended up adding for gbg and constantly got asked for upto that point.

Either way I'm still only on about 5 things I've voted for in the 2nd round.

Hard for inno to make a game that is perfect for everyone i find QI fun but should have a few changes to make it more fair on all players the 10 hour collection is a pain for some players make that 20 hours and make it so QI maps have many nodes open all the time so players have more options and strategies.

Love the idea of bringing back GVG i would be in support of either totally removing GBG or it needs major changes i have tried guilds in all leagues now and gbg is a problem for every level of GBG it doesn't work well with currently setup.

Minor changes i would love to have the auto switch units button added to all areas of fighting in the game this feature is brilliant and now that we have the hospital remove the diamond heal button from the combat screen.

The removal of the purple chests incidents or an option in the settings to turn them off as they are painful for the people not wanting to watch ads and make the game look terrible.

Update tavern boosts to make them relevant to the game.

Update the antique dealer also it could be setup so that new buildings become available at the end of the event as an option maybe change from antique dealer to just town trader and open up the options.

What on earth does that have to do with the subject? Nobody is asking you what you love.
