I note that when I moved to the Tomorrow era the small Captain image on the left changed but the 'full size' one has not.
Is this a mistake?

the big captain is aways the same, even in lower ages... it has always been this way.
And I like his fake smiling face... don't need to change for me!

No he has been different in earlier ages.
I just checked a world where I am in the Industrial age and the image IS different.
