can't access battlegrounds or global chat

hey guys need some help i can't get in to battlegrounds error says "please check network connection and try again later" same issue with global chat says disconnected
I play on PC with win 10 and google chrome, i have checked ports and all is clear, i have checked firewall and all is clear, the fact that i play on PC and i'm already in game to try battlegrounds does that not show my network connection to be working
I'm stumped
