Building sets

Grof Z

Corporal
Proposal:
to have QUEST wining buildings form a set after some time! (minimum 3-4 buildings)

Have you checked for similar ideas?:
Yes .. nothing similar.

Reason:
Improve functionality of buildings + have building give out "special" bonus after completion of set and keeping them in game.

Details:

There is increase of INNO quests, and with each we get a new building as a "quest" reward. Some players keep their buildings, and some just delete them, as they don't see full function for them!
Maharaja Palace is example of this. upon finishing the quest and completing full set U got extra bonuses.

Similar is suggest for YEAR quests.
From start of the year there were few quests and from each U got a special building
- Checkmate Square
- The Lord's Manor
- Hedge Maze
- Rosarium
- Sundial Spire ...

At this point each of these buildings is giving out "their bonus" but if YOU form a SET - all connected to each other so they can give you another bonus.
Something possibly only if U collect all the quest buildings or at least 3-4

Please do not make every event building part of a set. We do have a lot of sets, that is enough.

if it makes sense to combine bonus
Checkmate Square + Speakers Corner = 2% more attack boost
(a 3rd of the same kind would be nice ::cool::

but not randomly combined
what has a Checkmate Square to do with a Hedge Maze ? nothing
house with "wishing well"

at least they should be of the same category
Rosarium + Mad Scientist Lab + Aviary = all are production buildings

how about Lord Manor + Sundial Spire + one new houses which also give FP when motivated = bonus is that if all touches each other (each both other) then they automotivate themselves and don't need a motivation from someone else

all connected to each other so they can give you another bonus.

they are not all connected
one should touch all 3 other and the rest 2 other

Idea is for "running year" quests ... not all buildings you get throe years.
Combining then should give you some "special bonus" only possible to get when you finish all the quests and have buildings up and running.

@Test Ament - yeahh ... something along those lines. when u combine FP buildings you get extra FP's.

.

Set is set, whether you get it in one questline or multiple questline. Set have drawbacks, much more diffecult to put into the town, you have to put up all, even if you do not want all boni, the timer of them get reset every time you move them.

And what is with players who after the first questline? They will do almost all quests, but would never be able to get the special bonus. Very unfair.

they also don't get the normal bonus

if you don't have Speakers Corner you will always have up to 10% less than other
isn't that unfair too ?

btw: there is a new feature coming (already on beta server) where players can get old set buildings

Hiistorically, both would have been part of a "Garden Party" thing for the kind of people that lived in a manor. Mazes were a popular thing, as was playing life-size chess... which would often be played with people as the pieces.
