Should guild specific sectors be created in Battlegrounds to enable smaller teams to fight?

Proposal:
Have 2 or 3 sectors that are placed behind a guild base that are accessible to only that guild for battles. These are cleared once per day at reset allowing them to be taken by that guild the next day.

Have you checked the forums for the same or similar idea
Yes and I can't see anything similar

Reason:
Many smaller guilds are prevented from doing any battles in the GBG arena currently because of large guilds co-operating to take and swap sectors throughout the campaign. As a consequence, many guilds just give up trying to do anything in GBG.

Details:
Each guild in GBG has 2 or 3 sectors that sit behind their base that they can attack and battle in each day. At server reset, these sectors are released so the guild can battle those and take them again the following day. This doesn't exclude battling towards the centre - guilds can still do that.

Visual Aids:
None currently

Balance/Abuse Prevention:
As far as I can see/know, it wouldn't change any other aspect of the game.
It would require some graphical changes to the GBG map and development in terms of having them locked against other guilds and cleared each day.
By having these protected guild-only sectors, it allows the guild to at least do some battles every day to gain prizes and battle experience. It would encourage smaller guilds to participate in GBG more. It also encourages smaller players to develop attacking strength which benefits the guild. Initially I could see small guilds just taking their allocated sectors, but this develops a GBG mindset of battling each day, developing your attack strength and being able to get prizes and experience out of it. WIth more attack strength and experience, guilds are much more likely to push in to the centre and compete for sectors.

This idea actually addresses one of the problem with GBG, whereby large guilds can collaborate for top places, take sectors and swap sectors between them, thus preventing smaller guilds having the opportunity to do any battles at all.
Guilds would have to manage themselves in terms of who should be attacking these locked sectors. For example, guilds should be giving lower rated players the opportunity to take them and gain experience and prizes, and more developed players can attack centre sectors as normal.

Possible considerations -
It could be that -
1. these special sectors operate the same as other sectors in the game in terms of points and prizes
or
2. They don't count towards the guilds points tally, or prizes are reduced in those sectors.

Smaller guilds can get more members or ally with the other guilds. That's all I have to say.

What you're suggesting, is have a couple of sectors where you can privately farm it while in your current league, without the need to fight other guilds. At reset, the sectors are release and you get to farm it again, and again without the hassle of fighting other guilds. Yeah right. If you want your smaller members to learn to fight, and gauge their strength, there's also Guild Expedition for that. They can also fight their neighbours.
Dropping down a league will not hurt, except maybe your egos.

No it's not about private farming (that could be managed anyway with prizes), it's about giving smaller guilds a chance to compete and do at least some battles in GBG.

Yes you can drop down a league from Diamond to Platinum then you are too strong for Platinum and back in Diamond to witness the same nonsense tactics from 2 big guilds. I’ve seen guilds deliberately slow down in Plati I’m so as not to get promoted. Something needs to be done to stop 2 big guilds dominating a map with the chessboard approach. Why not for starters make it cross server like GE.

Doing that would mean less diamonds bought for Innogames, so they won't do it.

Where 2 big guilds dominate a map the rest give up. So who is spending diamonds?

?? Even in a small guild we are capable of covering most of the map in seige camps without buying goods. If everyone has a high arc then there's no problem
Well, that's from people swapping sectors, not controlling the map.

It's not about getting battle experience for lower members, nor concern about bouncing up the league one week and down the next. Nor is it about farming sectors for your own guild. It's about 2 or more guilds locking up the map and swapping sectors so no other guilds can even start at battling. I"ve been told that it doesn't seem to happen too much on other servers/worlds. I don't know, but in Langendorn it's terrible. CursedVeggie's guild is in the same campaign map as ours currenlty, so he can see the impact and what's going on. If people haven't experienced it, it's hard to understand the impact.

I think a diagram can help - see attached.
Team A attacks Team B's sector, but leaves it at 155/160. Then they stop. Team B does the same to Team A. When the 4 hour lock period ends, both teams then do a handful of battles, and take each others sectors - they are then locked again for 4 hours. These are perpetually locked. If another team starts to attack one of those sectors, Team A or B only needs to finish it off to take it, then it's locked again. No other teams get a look in.

Anyone who thinks big guilds are buying diamonds to fund siege camps is not in the real world. The only time they will use diamonds is 50 to speed up an SC. That can be easily funded from stock. Big players have tens of thousands and are winning plenty in BG every day swopping sectors with their mates.

There's a huge amount of this on the US server.

-1 ► unfortunately this idea is DOA

If lower ranked players are in your guild - without the experience you would like them to have - then it's your recruiters that need to properly recruit members - filling your guild with a lot of low ranked, inexperienced players is Your Strategy not anyone else's.

There are many ways that players can gain experience - You wouldn't ask a major golf league tournament to allow novices to compete in the same competition would you? It's silly right? Or, to give a bunch of Free holes to them that the other players don't/can't do? How would you expect a bunch of novice football players to compete in the super bowl against a pro team - give them 60 yards of free advancements on the field - it wouldn't help - they would still be novices? No, of course not, novices gain experience from competing against player that are commensurate with them!

Giving someone the illusion of being good does them no help or good!

Now - on to what your real problem or concern should be - and you should try to address that
