I did my due diligence and checked all the previously suggested ideas, What I am proposing is having the number of items to bid on, be tied to the number of items you can exchange. This would drive up prices in Auction, increase the amount of exchanges, and provide a wider display for players that are most active.

After selling off all the decorations/filler from the summer event I can now post 4 items to exchange at the same Time, I think being able to bid on 4 items, instead of just one, would work well.

With 5 auctions at once there might actually be something worth bidding on although I'd run out of coins pretty quickly

More so that there is a wider selection to bid on than anything else.
