Will do the HQ up to the last quest, will not have an open province as I have advanced too far ahead, and for the reward it isnt worth pushing on to the next map yet....

Because their business model depends on getting people to spend money on diamonds to finish things. If nobody feels the need to do that, the whole game goes away.

Historicals should NEVER demand province clearing... that needs to be saved for the 'main' events & the typical 1 or 2 big 'special' themed events.

Why not? Those are the best quests ever. Once you have cleared everything they are completed right away.
