Notification of friends removal

Please would it be possible to have an in-game notification of a friend's city being removed due to inactivity. In the last 2 weeks I have lost 2 from my friends list, due I assume to inactivity, with no notification as to why they have been removed. If a friend ends their friendship with you there is a notification in the Friends Event Tab, but nothing if they have been removed. I would like to know why my friends number dropped but as it is now I don't unless they end the friendship. Thank you.

You would not be informed why no matter what, due to privacy rules and laws. Though a notification on when they were removed should be possible.

Not all players are removed due to inactivity, so rather useless. What you want is a notification of players that are inactive.

All I really want to know is that they were removed. I had full friends list then 2 spaces with no messages from friends saying they had ended friendship. Just a system message saying 'X was removed from your friends list' or 'you lost X as a friend. Just something to differentiate from an actual friend ending friendship.

@markp27 If this is so why when a players account has been deleted we are told this if they have donated to a GB. Only today on 1 of my GB's the player in second place had deleted in brackets beside their name.

That does not answer "why" does it?

Most likely these players have been removed cause they broke the rules. Not because they were inactive. In most cases inactive accounts do not get removed.

Pretty sure the other day I got a notification in my event history saying "[player] removed themselves from your friends list". But popups tend to only happen in real time. So if you're not online you'll miss it. Would be nice if things like this were easier to see though. Even collecting medals from towers can be confusing because I never know when they've been added due to lack of notifications on anything unless logged in at the exact moment

Hoover over the Tower and it shows and it shows the time to the next medal payout.
If you want to run it tight, then You need to wait building the Tower till the day where all the other towers can be collected (weekly).
It is also a real long wait if you want to align them all - But perhaps a holyday is the right time to align them. It is certainly easier to collect all on the same day and time.

Something that shows a friend that has been inactive for awhile would work great. Then you would be able to add friends that are more active.

You're talking about a different tower.

I'm referring to the age tower where we compete to be champion every week. You find it via the continent map. Not the victory tower
