Are Map Deposits Applied Retrospectively To Goods Buildings?

DeletedUser111862

I'm in the process of acquiring the next province and can see that I'm going to get Ebony as a deposit. If I build the ebony goods building before the deposit is mine, will the production bonus be applied once I have acquired the province? Or does it not work like that and you have to have the production bonus deposit before you build the goods building?

I just find myself in a position where I have the space, money and supplies to afford the goods building and would rather spend now to get things ready but there's no point if the deposit is then not applied retrospectively.

The goods building will not be boosted until you own the deposit, it will be boosted when you gain it, but you'll be paying through the nose for those goods until you do get it, you're better off trading up for the goods with your already established bronze age goods if you negotiate the provinces. If you fight for them, just wait until you win the province.
