Not a Bug: Search function in Event History. Limited string length.

  • Browser and Version: Safari Version/10.0.3
  • Overview of the bug: There seems to be a character limit in the Search box of the Event History (20 characters max). Go to Townhall / News / Event History. Enter a string in the Search textbox. When trying to enter more than 20 char, the cursor does not move, characters are not entered.
    If searching for a player whose name exceeds 20 char, the list does not show any result.
  • Screenshots: None.
  • How often this occurs: Every time a search for a player name over 20 char is attempted.
  • Urgency: Minor bug (but mildly annoying ;-)
  • Preventative Actions: Tried various wild characters, could not find any.
  • Summary: Search function limit does not match possible player name length.
  • I have performed a quicksearch of the forums using a select few keywords relating to my bug to see if it has already been reported: Yes.

Thank you for your report. The 20 character limit is intended, but we will pass this feedback on to the devs.
