I ignore and unfriend a lot of people in-game, and I noticed that random other people also get unfriended and ignored. Since I don't notice this immediately, it's pretty hard to let support know, unfortunately.

I don't believe support will do anything, as it's part of the function of the game. Unless the player is harassing you, then they may step in

Double post @JustGuardian.
I took hubby to Deptford for a pop up event early on in our dating and we had cooked oysters. He was very very unwell the next day. He also didn’t like Deptford.

That's not what I mean. I ignore person A, and a random person Z also gets ignored, who I did not intend to ignore. :D Same with unfriending. I unfriend person A, and a random person X also gets unfriended--and a while later both of us are puzzled as to why we're not friends anymore when we used to be. This doesn't happen too often, so far I've only noticed 2 people getting ignored, and one getting unfriended. But there may be more I don't yet know about. :D

So the best answer is: do not ignore people. Write a short but strong answer (staying within the rules of course) ( or dont reply anything) then just let the other get tired and abort message. Report then unignore if there is a rule breech. Using this method I'm never spammed while I have an empty ingame ignore list and only one person here.Another problem with ignore is he/she can't explain his/herself if it's just a misunderstanding.

Hmmm...that is weird...perhaps your keyboard is stuck when you selected Ignored/Unfriend? I'm sure it's the most used keystroke:P

I have to. Some people are idiots. It's not about messages. It's about keeping sending friend requests. For some reason, some people cannot get that I won't be their friend even after rejecting their request five times.
