It probably was. :D Although this makes you have to watch out for other people's contributions constantly, which is a lot more strain on the server. But hey, not my server. :D

I dont think I've ever put in that huge amount for sniping. Oh wait.. I placed 787 on a GB once but I did it casually and used a lot of recurrings while doing it lol. I dont like the huge 10sec gap though. 5 would be more reasonable

Have you ever timed how long it takes to place 500 FPs from the desktop? Maybe it's exactly 10 seconds, and thus it became a 10-second wait. I don't know. :D

Depends on the server capabilities really. 10 seconds probably is in excess of what's needed, but it gives the server more breathing room i guess. Another question is how often you need to deposit 500FPs in one go? Regularly enough that this is annoying?

If you wanted to place 2000 FPs, then placing them in one go is a lot better on the server than placing smaller amounts 4 times. Plus the occasional check if you try after 5 seconds, it needs to check if the 10 seconds have passed, send back an error message if it hasn't, ... This is a lot more work for the server.

Some might, others might find it more of a blessing as some have mentioned times when placing 1-2k in FPs only to find they were sniped and wasted their FP
