Level up kit as a reward in the GE

[Proposal]: A new reward called a level up kit, similar to the one up kit, but instead of allowing special building to be brought up one age, allows special buildings where level upgrades are available to be brought up one level.

[Have you checked for similar ideas?]:
None found

[Reason]:
It is possible to win a special building and to upgrade it during an event, but when the event finishes, the opportunities to upgrade also finish. This would enable players to continue to upgrade special buildings after an event finishes, such as the Tholos of idols after the 2018 World Cup event.

[Details]:
Once selected, it will offer a text explaining that it will upgrade a building by one level and ask you to confirm that you wish to use it. If you click use, it will put a silver star above buildings that were available for a level up, such as the gong in the cherry garden set if it is at level one, or the maypole if it is at level 1 or 2. Selecting the building will apply the upgrade. If the building increases in size as a result of the upgrade, it will be put back into the store at its new level. If it stays the same size, it can be upgraded in situ.

[Balance]:. I believe this to be quite a valuable reward, so it should be more rare than the renovation kit or one up kit and only be available for higher level encounters in the GE or similar and possibly only every couple of months or so. Inno might want to make it something that can be purchased either with cash or diamonds. Someone has helpfully suggested a cost of 2500 diamonds.

[Visual Aids]:
None needed?

In the World Cup quest, my Tholos only got to level 8 and I have a spare Tholos in my inventory. It would be good to have a reward similar to the one up kit (that takes a special building up one age) that enables a player to take a special building up one level. The logical name for this would be a level up kit, and could be applied to any special item where level upgrades are available. This might be very useful for the summer event, as players may get frustrated if they get to the end of the quest with an unfinished ship.
I would understand specific events' buildings upgrade kits as rewards from daily quests, but to have one upgrade kit that would simply be able to level any one event building that is still "upgradable" in Summer event" is just too much.
Sorry, but -1 from me.

Ok maybe not available for special buildings in active events, but wouldn’t it be good to get that Cherry garden item up to the second level and not have to wait for an event to include a specific level up kit?

Yes, but only if we have specific item upgrade kit, not one upgrade kit that can work on more buildings :)

Why not have a level up kit that works on more than one building? Is that not exactly how the one up kit works? You use the item and the game shows you which items it can be applied to.

One up kit doesn't level up any event building in terms of levels. One up kit upgrades event building's age, so it's main production gets higher, based on production for each age.

Why not give everyone every building at max level? Rather stupid you actually have to do something for it.

And a level up kit would not upgrade the age of the event building, just its level, so it’s reward gets higher for using the level up kit.

One up kit only affects coin/supplies production and hapiness. Level up kit affects FPs, Goods and other resources production.

Once lvl 5 becomes a thing (assuming the GE is ever expanded) this would be a plausible final encounter reward if rotated among other prizes. I wouldn't put it on Lvl 4 final encounter unless it's rotated there no more then once a month.

every level up kit upgrades the age (brings the building to your age if lower)

For event specific kits yes that's what has happened so far.

If one could differentiate with a different name perhaps it'd be more viable (or some text somewhere explaining that one only upgrades lvl not age)

The renovation kit brings a building up your current age and the one up kit brings a building up one age, but there is currently no level up kit that could bring a building up one level, regardless of age.

Surely the clue is in the name, level up kit, and if introduced, the name of the one up kit will need to be changed to age up kit.
Or the one up kit could be selectable where you can either go up one age or one level - interesting idea!

????

there are already many level up kits that bring up one building one level (and into your era)

you want a "egg-laying, milk-bearing woolly sow"
one kit that could bring up any buildings that can be leveled

sorry: will never happen

A level or age kit that requires you to select whether you're going up a lvl (and the prompt would say : remains same age/era in the text) or up a age would be less confusing then trying to do a level up kit.

We already have individual level up kits for each set/building and they always change both the lvl and the age. Introducing something too close to that would result in many players being confused by the lack of consistency.
